MLK Jr. Week Luggage Drive and Algorithmic Justice Reflection
Jan. 1 – 24, 2025
HHS Connex Hub, Stone Hall, room 122
As part of MLK Jr Celebration Week activities, the College of Health and Human Sciences is hosting a week-long luggage drive for foster children supported by the non-profit organization Indiana Mentor, and a reflection activity focused on the themes of Algorithmic Justice and Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy. Please drop by the HHS Connex Hub from January 20-24 to participate.
Indiana Mentor serves foster kids statewide from 0-18 years old. They are most in need of luggage, any type, including gently used pieces. Duffle and other smaller bags are also welcome.
Luggage donations may be dropped off in the HHS Connex Hub (STON 122), the Office of Multicultural Programs (AGAD 105) and other locations throughout campus (visit Dr. MLK Jr. Celebration Week 2025 for locations).
