Currently accepting graduate and undergraduate applications

Join the Team

Dr. Schwichtenberg is currently accepting graduate applications.

Consider joining the lab as an undergraduate research assistant! As a vital part of our lab’s community, you can expect to actively participate in various research tasks and reading around sleep and its influences on development. Students can expect to read and disseminate new sleep findings to our lab through infographics, participate in data collection, data cleaning and coding, and more.

We believe that the lab experience is as much for your benefit as it is for us having your expertise and time. As such, the SDS lab has professional development opportunities such as:

  • Research experience for vita/resume
  • Opportunities for leadership
  • Independent projects for Purdue conferences
  • Graduate application mentoring
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Experience in a neurodiversity-pro space
