DETECT is a multi-institutional collaboration with the goal of increasing opportunities for training about emerging contaminants, emerging technologies, and safety management systems for occupational health and safety specialists.

Online Courses
In collaboration with Purdue Online, we are creating three online courses: Emerging Contaminants, Emerging Technologies, and Safety Management Systems. These feature interactive designs, are self-paced, asynchronous, and available for free!

Virtual Reality and Online Laboratories
In partnership with Purdue Envision, we have created four online or virtual reality laboratories.
In-Person Training
We have also coordinated several in-person training sessions, including Professional Development Courses at national meetings such as the American Industrial Hygiene Association’s AIHA Connect.
