The Environmental Health Physics and Trace Metals Lab at Purdue University is within the School of Health Sciences. Our labs are located in the Hampton Civil Engineering Building, which houses more than ten x-ray fluorescence instruments for our elemental measurements.
Research
Our research primarily focuses on the development of novel instrumentation for measurement of environmental pollutants, application of those instrumentation in public health and epidemiological studies, and identification of health impacts brought on by environmental pollutants.
