Who We Are

The Financial Intelligence for Consumer Well-being Lab brings together an interdisciplinary team of consumer scientists, behavioral economists, data scientists, and financial planning scholars. Our members share a common goal: using rigorous evidence and advanced analytics—especially machine learning and AI—to understand how people make financial decisions and how those decisions affect their well-being.

Faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate researchers in the lab collaborate closely with industry partners, community organizations, and public agencies. We value mentorship, inclusion, and ethical practice, and we actively support students who want to build research skills, pursue graduate study, or connect academic insights to real-world financial challenges.
