Amy Janis

Graduate Student- HDFS

Amy Janis is a graduate student interested in infant/toddler sleep and metabolic risk. Working on the SHH Study and the Family Chronotype study, Amy studies how family and infant sleep impact weight outcomes. She graduated with a B.S in Human Services from Purdue in 2022, and joined the SDS lab as a graduate student in Fall of 2022. Claire Rosenberger

Graduate Student- HDFS

Claire is a graduate student at Purdue in the Department of Human Development and Family Science. Her primary research goal is to understand the role of early intervention and family members on the developmental outcomes for children, especially those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In her free time, Claire enjoys walking her dog Bitz, going to concerts, and taking care of her plants. 

Mehreen Hassan

Doctoral Candidate- HDFS

Mehreen is a PhD candidate in the Human Development and Family Science department and is pursuing a M.S.Ed. in Applied Behavior Analysis at Purdue University. She previously has a M.A. in Applied Developmental Psychology from George Mason University. Her research focuses on caregivers’ experiences in parent-mediated interventions and the dissemination of evidence-based interventions to diverse and marginalized populations. She’s particularly interested in adapting interventions to meet cultural needs, assessing their impact on both children and parents.

Moon West

Graduate Student- HDFS

Moon is a graduate student with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and education. They have a passion for Autism research. In the SDS lab, Moon explores research articles and engages in insightful discussion with fellow lab mates. Beyond the lab, you will often find them on hiking trails, spending time with their two cats, or writing poetry.

Ana Andrade

Undergraduate Student – HDFS

Ana Andrade is a senior majoring in Human Services with a concentration in Addiction Studies. She joined the lab in the Spring of 2024. She has been involved in the SHH study and lab administration.

Angelina Robertson

Undergraduate Student – Psychological Sciences

Angelina Robertson is a senior majoring in Psychological Sciences with minors in English, and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She joined the lab in Spring of 2024.

Lexi Knipp

Post Baccalaureate Student – Psychology

Lexi Knipp is a recently graduated psychology major from Denison University. They joined the lab in Summer of 2024. They have been involved in many studies including the Family Routine Intervention and the R21 Study.

Shae Toco

Undergraduate Student – Psychological Sciences & DVFS

Shae Tocco is a senior majoring in Psychological Sciences & Human Development and Family Science. She joined the lab in Summer 2024. She has been involved with the Indiana School Start Times, FRI, and R21 studies. 

Isabelle Toader

Undergraduate Student – Brain and Behavioral Sciences

Isabelle Toader is a senior studying Brain and Behavioral Sciences with a minor in English. She joined the lab in Summer of 2024.
