Dr. Schwichtenberg is currently accepting graduate applications.

Consider joining the lab as an undergraduate or graduate research assistant! As a vital part of our lab’s community, you can expect to actively participate in various research tasks and reading around sleep and its influences on development. Students can expect to read and disseminate new sleep findings to our lab through infographics, participate in data collection, data cleaning and coding, and more. 

We believe in creating a mutually beneficial lab space – wherein the lab serves you as much as you serve it. As such, the SDS lab has professional development opportunities such as:

The SDS lab asks applicants to commit to at least two semesters at 9 hours/week, or one summer at 20 hours/week. Preference may be given to students who can commit to a full calendar year.

Undergraduate students may volunteer or receive credits for HDFS 390, PSY 390, SLHS 390, or BIOL 294/494. Credits dependent on research project and major. Graduate students may volunteer or receive HDFS 690 credits.
