Molecular Image-guided Radiotherapy

Over the years, CT and MRI have played pivotal roles in guiding radiotherapy delivery. Nevertheless, the precision of molecular imaging, exemplified by PET, surpasses that of CT and MRI. Our ongoing endeavor involves devising a radiotherapy plan by utilizing PET data. We hold the conviction that incorporating PET data into treatment planning will elevate the precision of the plan, enabling optimized doses to be administered to regions displaying elevated biochemical activities. This, in turn, will culminate in treatment plans that are distinctive and tailor-made to the individual patient’s needs.
