Biography

Daniel P. Strunk is a seasoned business professional with over 45 years of experience in various roles, including CEO, line manager, consultant, educator, and author.

Highlights of his work:

  • Developed the Center for Sales Leadership at DePaul University as a revenue-producing program. The CSL provides students with the real-world skills required to meet the new partners’ skill requirements.
  • Develop the Sales Strategy & Technology course, textbook, and sales simulation.
  • Convinced HBR to publish an issue featuring sales education, and was one of four faculty members who wrote the article on Teaching Sales in Jan of 2012
  • In 2009, based on his work at the Category Management Association, he created the consumer-packaged goods track for the CSL. During those two years, he was responsible for adding the following companies as partners: Walgreens, Walmart, Pepsi, MillerCoors, Red Bull, Constellation Brands, Hershey, and Colgate.
