Biography
Dr. Deb graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2021 with a doctorate in Integrative Health and Healing. She has had a long-time interest in complementary and integrative approaches to health and well-being. After working for several years as a nurse in the areas of perioperative, emergency, intensive care nursing, she entered nursing education at Ivy Tech in 2004. In January 2016, she came to Purdue and continues to teach medical-surgical nursing along with the holistic nursing elective. Dr. Deb is an ATI Champion and a Dedicated Simulation Faculty, and serves as the treasurer for the Delta Omicron Chapter of Sigma Nursing.
