Something Cool/Unique About Me

I have been an athlete all of my life playing basketball, being a dancer, and an equestrian. I have been riding and showing horses competitively for the majority of my life, and I currently ride competitively in college representing Purdue. I have ridden in nearly every discipline and event, but I specialize in the western discipline and the American Quarter Horse breed.

Advice For Students

When coming into a completely new environment like college, everything can feel very overwhelming and intimidating, and it can get easy to get caught up in the little things and try to conform to the “norm” in an effort to fit in. Remember to stay true to yourself, and be confident in your own identity, just be yourself because that’s the best version of you you can be! Try new things and push yourself outside of your comfort zone, be willing to broaden your horizons, and be open to meeting new people because there’s some pretty amazing ones at this university! At the same time, stay grounded in your foundation and lean on your support system when you need it, they’re always here for you!
