Biography
Chef Shawn has owned and operated businesses as well as working in every segment of the foodservice industry, as well healthcare businesses, “bringing hospitality to healthcare.” He holds business degrees and certificates in Culinary Arts, Business, Retail, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Accounting and Professional Sales. He is Certified Executive Chef (CEC) and a Certified Culinary Educator (CCE) through The American Culinary Federation and the author of The First Timer’s Cookbook/Bakebook and Food People Management. His work has been awarded and recognized nationwide, and he is a regular contributor to numerous food service programs, publications and outlets. He lives with his wife/better half and their four children in West Lafayette, Indiana.
