Biography
Dr. Susan Kersey is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at Purdue University’s School of Nursing. A published researcher, author and developer of the Purdue PMHNP program, Dr. Kersey has over 35 years of experience in psychiatric nursing across acute and outpatient settings. Dr. Kersey is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Her academic and clinical interests focus on integrating evidence-based mental health care into educational curricula and improving access to mental health services, particularly for patients in rural and underserved communities.
