Biography
I graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science. After graduating from Purdue, I went on to get my BSN from Indiana Wesleyan University. After graduation, I worked as a pulmonary nurse at IU University Hospital in Indianapolis. In this role, I was able to care for cystic fibrosis patients, which is where my research interests emerged. After working in Indianapolis, I moved to the intensive care unit at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette, Indiana. I went back to school and received my master’s degree from Ball State University in Nursing Education. Upon graduation in 2019, I started as a Lecturer for the School of Nursing at Purdue University. I currently teach the freshman introduction to nursing and fundamentals class. I have started my PhD in Nursing here at Purdue University in 2022.
