The Accessible Precision Audiology Research Center (APARC) Grand Opening event is to celebrate the launching of APARC at the 16 Tech Innovation District in Indianapolis. This new health-related initiative is launching with support from the Life and Health Sciences Summit that was supported by the Office of Research and the Provost’s Office, and includes researchers from HHS, Engineering, and Science.

The new center will provide hearing-health education and outreach to the Indianapolis community and beyond, while recruiting subjects with diverse racial, socioeconomic and hearing-health backgrounds, with the goal of using the data to improve precision audiology diagnostics through ML and data analytics.

Remarks will begin at 5 p.m.
