This session is part of the Exploring Careers in Health Virtual Series. The month of September is devoted to the field of epidemiology.

Epidemiology is the study of disease spread. It often includes social and behavioral factors as well as biological and genetic aspects. Epidemiology aims to determine why a disease is spreading, who is impacted, where it is occurring, and when the disease is most active.

During this session, we will review training requirements needed for a career in this advanced field.
