Public Health Winter Hooding Ceremony
Sunday, December 17, 2023, 3:00 pm
WALC, Hither Theater – Purdue University West Lafayette Main Campus
Every term, the PUBH graduate program hosts a hooding ceremony to honor those who are graduating with their graduate degree that semester. During the hooding ceremony, students walk to a professor on stage and have the salmon hood place around their neck while information about their degree and favorites moments are read. Department leadership give celebratory and inspirational speeches during the program. The event ends with dessert and refreshments. Family, friends and significant others are welcome.
Graduates should attend the event in their graduation regalia (holding, not wearing, their hood).
