Biography
With an established track record in acute care, Amanda’s influence as a Clinical Nurse Specialist extends beyond clinical excellence to encompass leadership in systemwide initiatives aimed at elevating patient care. Her experience includes leading interdisciplinary teams to improve patient safety and care quality, driving system-level changes that have a lasting impact. Her collaborative efforts have consistently fostered the adoption of evidence-based practices, contributing to a culture of safety and quality in healthcare delivery. Concurrently, as a faculty member at Purdue University, Amanda is committed to cultivating a future nursing workforce equipped with the skills and critical thinking, needed to provide high quality care. Her focus is on enabling students to translate theoretical knowledge into practical excellence, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the dynamic challenges of patient-care, and grow as nursing professionals.
