Biography
Dr. Chelsea Taulman is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Chair of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program at Purdue University’s School of Nursing. She also practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Purdue North Central Nursing Clinic. With more than 15 years of experience in nursing and advanced practice, she has a strong commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive care to diverse and underserved populations across the lifespan.
In her faculty and leadership roles, Dr. Taulman is dedicated to advancing nursing education through innovative teaching, student mentorship, and community-engaged clinical practice. She emphasizes the integration of evidence-based theory with real-world application to prepare future nurse practitioners for the evolving demands of healthcare. Her professional interests include rural and underserved health, health promotion and disease prevention, interprofessional collaboration, and the use of innovative technologies to enhance patient care and nursing education.
