Something Cool/Unique About Me

-originally started as a Kinesiology major, but switching to Biomedical Health Sciences helped me find the academic path that best supports my goal of becoming a PA
-I am the 6th person in my family to attend Purdue University, and have grown up a fan my entire life
-I am a good cook, and love making pasta from scratch
-I’m a certified nursing assistant for the elderly and disabled
-I have been to Disney World over 12 times

Advice For Students

I encourage prospective students not to feel pressured to have their entire future planned before arriving at Purdue. It is normal to change direction as you learn more about yourself and your goals. Take advantage of opportunities to get involved by joining clubs, attending events, and connecting with professors and classmates early. Getting involved helps a large campus feel smaller, builds meaningful relationships, and can introduce you to unexpected interests and opportunities. College is about more than earning a degree; it is also about discovering who you are and finding the path that suits you.
