Jill Gulker

Dr. Jill Gulker is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University, where she has taught since 2013. Her work centers on teaching and learning, with a focus on active, project-based course design that helps students engage more deeply with the material. She has led comprehensive redesigns of several courses through Purdue’s IMPACT Fellowship and directs a study abroad program in cultural neuroscience.

Dr. Gulker believes students are collaborators in their own learning rather than passive recipients of instruction. She approaches every class ready to learn from her students, just as she hopes they show up ready to learn from her and from one another.
