Something Cool/Unique About Me

I’m someone who likes trying new things and figuring things out as I go. Recently that’s looked like getting involved in neuroscience research, teaching myself how to sew, and spending as much time as I can outdoors hiking and traveling. I tend to have a lot of different interests, and I like keeping myself busy with projects that challenge me and help me learn something along the way.

Advice For Students

Give yourself permission to be new at things. It’s easy to compare yourself to everyone around you, but everyone is adjusting in their own way. Get involved in things that genuinely interest you, ask for help when you need it, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Some of the best parts of college come from the opportunities you didn’t plan for.
