Biography

Kelsey K. Wiggs, PhD is an Assistant Professor and licensed Clinical Psychologist in the Departments of Public Health and Psychological Sciences at Purdue University. She previously held an Assistant Professor position at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she also started a clinic for the evaluation and diagnosis of ADHD across the lifespan. She was previously a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, where she also completed to Clinical Psychology Internship. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University and a BS and BA in Psychology and Philosophy, respectively, from the University of Iowa (go Hawks).

Her clinical expertise is in the assessment and management of ADHD, and her research is similarly focused on 1) pre- and perinatal risk for ADHD, 2) pharmacologic and behavioral interventions for ADHD, and 3) ADHD development and presentation among females, girls/women, and femme-presenting individuals. Ongoing projects include the examination of endogenous and exogenous estrogen influences on ADHD symptoms in females across the menstrual cycle, healthcare and daily-life lived experiences of females with ADHD transitioning into adulthood, and the experiences and management of ADHD during pregnancy and the post-partum period.
