Biography
Luiza Grisolia Castanhas earned her physical therapy degree in 2008 from the State University of Londrina (UEL), Brazil. Her background spans clinical practice, academic administration, and research, including roles in the Anatomy & Physiology Department at Kansas State University and at Queen’s University. She is currently a Research Coordinator at Purdue University, working on an NIA-funded clinical trial on leg heat therapy in PAD (PI: Bruno Tesini Roseguini, Ph.D.) and an AHA/NIH-funded pilot study on leg heat therapy in HFpEF (PI: Daniel Hirai, Ph.D.).
