Melissa Walgamuth

Biography

Melissa Walgamuth is an Administrative Assistant in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University and a proud Purdue alumna. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Dance and French, which continues to inform her appreciation for human behavior, communication, and collaboration in the workplace.

In her role, Melissa supports faculty, staff, and students through scheduling, event coordination, and day-to-day departmental operations. She enjoys helping things run smoothly behind the scenes and creating a supportive, organized environment for others. Her background includes administrative work at Purdue as well as experience in education, human resources, and customer service.

She values collaboration, clear communication, and building positive working relationships across the department. Outside of work, she enjoys being part of the Purdue community and supporting student success.
