Biography

My research examines how artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies shape social perception, intergroup relations, and judgments of people and groups. I am especially interested in how people assign social identities and stereotypes to AI, how biases shape responses to technology, and how technological change alters perceptions of work and leadership. A complementary line of my research examines moral judgment, including how values, ideology, and motivation shape ethical evaluations and behavior.
