I grew up heavily involved in the livestock and showpig industry through my family’s operation, 4-H, and FFA, which taught me leadership, responsibility, and a strong work ethic from a young age.

Advice For Students

My biggest advice to prospective students is to focus on choosing your “best yes.” There will always be so many opportunities, commitments, and expectations in college, but learning what truly aligns with your goals, values, and well-being is so important. Most importantly, do not wish any part of college away. Even during stressful times, these years go by so quickly, and some of the best memories and friendships are built in the little everyday moments.
