Parag Sharma

Biography

Parag Sharma is a Lead Director in Medical Affairs and is responsible for clinical program data analytics and clinical knowledge services. Clinical program data analytics includes evaluating utilization management programs, conducting trend analysis, and developing insights to innovate clinical program strategy and formulary management using data-driven decisions. Additionally, data analytics are used to measure and monitor key operational metrics to inform leadership on work volume & create actionable outcomes based on data. Clinical Knowledge Services is accountable for managing the $2 million clinical subscription budget & providing access to these resources for colleagues in order to establish quality and timely clinical decisions.

As a Doctor of Public Health, Parag joined the organization in 2019 as a Lead Director. Prior to joining CVS Health, he was a Clinical Data Scientist at Humana where analyzed claims/social determinants of health data in order to develop new population health offerings for the Humana health plan.
