Biography

My research examines the (social) psychological processes that influence tendencies to categorize others in line with different categorization systems. The primary questions guiding my work are: (1) Which motivations and belief systems guide either support for or opposition to specific systems of social categorization? (2) What are the mechanisms through which these systems of social categorization are sustained or revised

Outside of work, I’m a big fan of cats (especially my cat Kartoffel), karaoke, and board games.
