HHS Ambassadors
Beyond the Classroom | Undergraduate Students
HHS Student Ambassadors are a select group of 75 students who represent the college through recruiting, advancement and alumni activities. Among their responsibilities, ambassadors attend and speak at alumni events as well as talk with prospective students and their parents.
Interested in becoming an ambassador? Applicants must be full-time students who have been enrolled in HHS for at least two semesters (first-year students may apply), with a minimum of two semesters left in school and a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher. HHS Student Ambassadors are required to complete a series of training modules, attend monthly meetings with program coordinators, actively participate in small group meetings and serve a one-year term starting in August.
At the end of the one-year term, each ambassador will be evaluated on participation and performance. If at any time during their term an ambassador should be placed on academic notice (previously known as probation), fail a course, transfer out of HHS or behave unprofessionally, they will be asked to resign.
