Biography

Dr. Pamela Karagory is an award-wining nurse educator and academic nurse leader. Her overarching nursing education focus and contribution is to prepare nursing graduates for their professional role in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment by empowering them with the knowledge, skill, and attitudes to lead and advocate for quality healthcare, systems efficiency, and effective interprofessional teamwork.  Dr. Karagory is a nurse educator recognized at the university, state, and national level for consistent excellence in teaching. She has received teaching awards at the School, College, and University level.  was inducted as a Fellow into the National League for Nursing Academy of Nursing Education (ANEF) in 2019, for her substantial contributions in advancing and transforming nursing education.She is actively engaged in addressing issues that influence nursing education needs, healthcare innovation, nursing workforce priorities, and influencing policy that impact nursing practice.
