Department of Nutrition Science

Nutrition science examines how food choices and metabolism of nutrients affect our long-term health. Throughout your career, you will advance public understanding of the role of nutrition in health and disease prevention. Nationally recognized for discovery, learning and engagement, Purdue’s Department of Nutrition Science has a rich history of preparing students to turn knowledge into action. Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences

Housed within the state-of-the-art Lyles-Porter Hall, the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences has accredited and highly ranked clinical programs in Audiology (# 8) and Speech-Language Pathology (# 2), and awards bachelor’s, master’s, AuD, and PhD degrees. With 20 tenure track and 15 clinical faculty members, the Department is diverse and collegial and hosts a thriving interdisciplinary community. The M.D. Steer Speech, Language and Hearing Clinics are housed within the department and provide diagnostic and rehabilitative services to patients across the lifespan and facilitate research collaborations.
