Alison Roth

Biography

Dr. Alison Roth is the Radiation and Environmental Health Program Coordinator within the School of Health Sciences at Purdue University. She is passionate about improving the education of health scientists through teaching, experiential learning opportunities (job shadowing, site visits, and internships), student support and career counseling, and academic program development. She is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine and serves on several committees and working groups.  She earned two B.S. degrees from Purdue University in Radiological Health Sciences and Applied Physics and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin. She performed postdoctoral research at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. Her research has focused on applications of medical imaging to biomarkers, quantify treatment response, and modify treatments.
