Angela Zickmund

Biography

Ms. Zickmund began her career in healthcare administration, specifically in outreach and marketing, then moved into operations.  She worked in healthcare at local, regional, and national levels for many years.  After working in healthcare, she pursued an opportunity to live and work in public health in Guatemala. While in Guatemala, besides working with a not-for-profit organization, she taught English in a neighborhood school and continued her study of Spanish.  When she returned to the United States, she pursued a career in teaching English as a Second Language and teaching Spanish to English speakers.  In the Department of Public Health, she supports the experiential learning program and aids the Faculty in working with community partners for research and teaching. She helps the department expand the engagement and communications with alums, prospective students, and community stakeholders.
