Biography
My research focuses on the (dys)regulation of oxygen transport and utilization at the muscle microcirculatory level with an emphasis on exercise tolerance in health and disease. We utilize a translational approach with investigations in pre-clinical rodent models and patients to identify therapeutic targets and improve microvascular and muscle function with rehabilitation and pharmacological/non-pharmacological interventions
