Joan Goetz

Biography

Joan is a Laboratory Technician VIII and Matthews Hall Building Deputy. She teaches the TA’s for the textile labs, sets up and maintains the textiles labs, assists with textile lectures, teaches apparel equipment classes, and maintains the apparel equipment and supplies. In the past she has worked with the Laboratory of Renewable Resources Engineering in doing the analytical chemical testing on biomass materials. She has done lab work on published textile research. She holds a BS degree in Textiles Science for University of Iowa. She has served 3 years on CSSAC including PEAP, Communication, Professional Development, College of Engineering Deans Advisory and Division of Recreational Sport Advisory committees. Joan has worked at Purdue University for 40 years
