Biography

Jonathan Bauchet is an associate professor in the Division of Consumer Science and the Department of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University. His recent work examined the demand for life microinsurance among microfinance borrowers in Mexico; the impact of an innovative anti-poverty program in Andhra Pradesh, India; the impact of cash transfers among Amazonian indigenous peoples; and food safety among smallholder farmers in Senegal, West Africa.
