Kelley Bailey

Biography

Dr. Bailey has been a lecturer at Purdue University since 2000. She has specialized in Health Education pedagogy at both the elementary and secondary levels. Dr. Bailey was selected two times to attend the Advanced Academy for Higher Education Health Education sponsored by the CDC and the American Cancer Society. In the fall of 2013, Dr. Bailey and her secondary Health Ed students collaborated with the Tippecanoe School Corporation to develop a comprehensive health education scope and sequence for the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 10th grades for the district.  Currently, with her elementary students each semester, she implements a Health Education Health Fair at area elementary schools.  Dr. Bailey also teaches several undergraduate Public Health courses. She enjoys connecting with students and introducing them to the field of Public Health.  Dr. Bailey was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2019 and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
