Biography

Hometown: Cedar Springs, MI

I have previously worked in the Office of Student Engagement at Western Michigan University as a Graduate Assistant for Campus Programming. I advised the Campus Activities Board and planned a 15,000 in-person campus wide welcome event called Bronco Bash! I also have worked at the Helen Bass Williams Academic Success Center at Purdue University as a Program Coordinator of Academic Success – primarily coordinating the Supplemental Instruction program. I also have prior work experience in residence life and orientation as well.

Fun Facts: 

  • My husband, Zach Oborne, also works at Purdue University as an Academic Advisor in the Polytechnic Institute.
  • We have 2 cats, Simba and Macie. I love being a cat mom!
  • I enjoy spending time in my home state, Michigan, during the summer!
