Something Cool/Unique About Me

I lived on the south coast of France this summer taking French classes. On weekends, I either travelled to other countries (Spain, Monaco, Italy, Switzerland) or spent two days in larger cities of France including Lyon and Paris for their Independence Day. I miss it, but I do look forward to being a little more landlocked for my senior year.

Advice For Students

You should start your semesters off by catching up with your professors individually to specify any confusion in the syllabus. Even if you don’t have questions specifically, just make an appointment to meet with your professor before the semester starts to become too overwhelming. This shows them you are dedicated to their class. Make sure you voice to them any issues you may anticipate having before they even come up at inconvenient times during the class. Also, befriend the teaching assistants!
Lastly, get involved in a variety of clubs and organizations. You’ll meet new people and learn something about yourself.
