Zachary La Fratta

Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences

Areas of Expertise

  • Diagnostic hearing evaluations and interventions for both pediatrics and adults
  • Expertise in hearing aids, bone-conduction devices, and Hearing Assistive Technologies (HAT)
  • Focus on Pediatric Amplification Interprofessional Collaboration (PAIC) in preschool setting
  • Clinical supervision and teaching


Zac La Fratta, Au.D., CCC-A serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Purdue University, within the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. His role encompasses providing clinical education and overseeing diagnostic and intervention services from infancy to adulthood at the M.D. Steer Audiology Clinic. Additionally Dr. La Fratta teaches a graduate level pediatric audiology course.
