Biography

Diane is a Clinical Associate Professor with over 20 years of nursing experience in a variety of health care systems throughout the US.  Her primary nursing focus has been in the emergency department where she has specialized in trauma nursing, trauma program management, and emergency department education and leadership.

Diane has been teaching in the undergraduate program since 2012.  She is currently teaching nursing leadership and is the director of nursing professional development. Diane holds a yellow belt certification in Lean healthcare.

Diane and her husband Randy have two daughters.  They enjoy spending time together traveling, outdoor activities, and watching the girls in various sporting and school activities.  Diane’s goal is to educate and inspire future nurse leaders to lead and promote positive change in nursing and healthcare systems.
