Biography

Tamar Greenwell, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Purdue University. She received her Master’s degree from Purdue University in 1998.  Professor Greenwell holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  She maintains a professional license in Speech-Language Pathology in the State of Indiana.  Prior to joining Purdue in 2015, Professor Greenwell worked within the public school setting providing speech and language services to school-aged children with a variety of speech, language, and learning needs.

Tamar Greenwell supervises clinical practicum for graduate students in speech-language pathology within Purdue’s M.D. Steer Audiology and Speech Clinic and cooperating areas schools.  Professor Greenwell’s primary expertise lies in identification, evaluation, and clinical management of speech and language disorders in school-aged children.  Language and literacy, speech sound production, and social skills are particular areas of interest.  Clinical supervision has included Pragmatic Language Groups, Quick Artic! School-based intensive articulation intervention, and Summer Fun Child Language Research Program.
