Admissions

Admission decisions are based on individual experience and the applicant’s fit with the program. To be considered, submit a completed application accompanied by the following:

  • A professional resume.
  • A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with an approximate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
  • Official transcripts from all universities attended, including transfer credits.
  • Three letters of recommendation.
  • Statement of purpose.
  • Personal history statement.
  • An application fee of $60 ($75 for international students).

Tuition Discounts Available

Students working in government or nonprofit organizations may be eligible for tuition discounts based on their employer type:

  • $25 per credit hour discount
    • Employees of the federal government
    • Employees of nonprofit organizations with revenue over $2.5M
  • $100 per credit hour discount
    • Employees of state government
    • Employees of nonprofit organizations with revenue between $500K–$2.5M
  • $200 per credit hour discount
    • Employees of local government
    • Employees of nonprofit organizations with revenue under $500K

Students will self-report eligibility for tuition discounts during the application process. The department may audit eligibility and request verification. Adjustments may be made if employment status changes.

Current: An application fee of $60 ($75 for international students).

Application Fee Waived

Beginning July 1, 2026, the application fee will be waived for all online Master of Health Administration graduate certificate programs.
