PURE Tox
Take your next giant leap in Toxicology
The Purdue University Research Experience in Toxicology (PURE Tox) program is an opportunity for undergraduate students to perform Toxicology research.
Check back in February for Summer 2025 opportunities.

Program Requirements
Applicants must be a degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled in an institute of higher education, at least 18 years of age. Students enrolled at Purdue University will not be considered for this program. Students from underrepresented backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
By the start of the internship, the applicant must be a citizen or a non-citizen national of the United States or have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence (i.e., possess a currently valid Permanent Resident Card USCIS Form I-551, or other legal verification of such status).

- Demographic and education information including transcript (unofficial) and GPA
- Letter of Interest
- This letter should include a description of your interest in toxicology and this specific internship opportunity and how you perceive this internship opportunity will impact your educational and research development.
- Reference Letter
- In your application, please provide the name, affiliation, and email address of your letter writer. They will need to email your reference letter to Alison Roth (roth5@purdue.edu) by March 30.

- Application deadline: March 30
- After applications are reviewed, selected applicants will be invited to interview.

- Will I be provided with a stipend?
- A stipend of $15/hour (maximum of $4,800) and housing will be provided to interns.
- Where will I live during this program?
- The program will provide the students with on-campus housing at Purdue University in Hawkins Hall (dorm) at no cost to students.
- What does this program cost?
- There are no costs of this program beyond travel to West Lafayette, IN and food expenses.
